Why Breast Health Matters

Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers among women, but when caught early it is also among the most treatable. Regular screening, prompt evaluation of changes, and an honest understanding of your personal risk are the most powerful tools you have. The challenge is that busy schedules, long waits, and rushed visits often stand in the way.

Direct Primary Care removes those obstacles. Because Dr. Ali carries a smaller patient panel, she has time to know you, answer your questions, and act quickly when something needs attention. A new lump or worrisome change never has to wait days for a return call.

Whether you are approaching the age for routine mammograms, managing dense breast tissue, or carrying a family history that raises your risk, having a physician who partners with you brings real peace of mind — the kind that comes from knowing someone is paying attention alongside you.

Meet Dr. Ali

Dr. Syeda Farheen Ali, MD, is triple board-certified in Internal Medicine, Obesity Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine, and is additionally certified in menopause and women's hormone therapy. Her patients describe her as warm, thorough, and genuinely attentive. Dr. Ali believes women deserve a physician who listens carefully, explains clearly, and treats every concern with respect — never dismissing symptoms or rushing through an exam.

Through the Direct Primary Care model, Dr. Ali offers the time and accessibility that make proactive breast health possible. She serves members across Illinois, both in person at the Frankfort practice and through secure telemedicine, so quality care is always within reach.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you perform mammograms at your office?

Dr. Ali performs clinical breast exams in the office and coordinates mammograms, ultrasounds, and other imaging at trusted local facilities. As a member, you benefit from help accessing wholesale-price imaging and having your results reviewed directly with Dr. Ali.

How often should I be screened?

Screening recommendations depend on your age, personal history, and risk factors. Dr. Ali will build a personalized screening schedule with you rather than applying a one-size-fits-all rule, and she will keep it up to date over time.

I found a lump. How quickly can I be seen?

Right away. Members get same-day or next-day appointments, and you can text or call Dr. Ali directly. Most breast lumps are not cancer, but any new lump deserves prompt evaluation — and you should never have to wait for that.

Is breast care included in the $89 monthly membership?

Yes. Your flat $89 monthly membership includes unlimited visits, clinical breast exams, risk assessments, and direct access to Dr. Ali. There are no copays or insurance billing. Imaging and biopsies performed by outside facilities are billed separately, often at wholesale pricing we help you access.

Can I use my HSA to pay for membership?

Beginning January 1, 2026, Direct Primary Care memberships became HSA-eligible under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, so you may be able to use HSA funds toward your monthly membership. We recommend confirming details with your HSA administrator.

Can breast health concerns be handled by telemedicine?

Many parts of breast health — risk assessment, reviewing results, discussing symptoms, and planning screenings — can be handled by secure telemedicine anywhere in Illinois. A clinical breast exam requires an in-person visit at our Frankfort office, which we will schedule promptly when needed.
